For a while now we've been receiving requests to make Creative free. More and more good arguments have been made for making creative free, and we've taken them in to consideration. After listening to all the reasons that people have, we have decided that it is best for the Darkcraft community and all its residents to no longer charge for creative. If you had paid for creative, an appropriate refund will be given to you in the form of DarkPoints.
Well, what are you waiting for? Go build something incredible!
We are currently updating to 1.6.1, so the server will be closed for a short time while all changes are made. A few of us will be on to make sure that there are no bugs that need to be patched, but this shouldn't take a long time. I will be keeping this post updated, and I will reply here when we are finished updating and back open! Follow this thread if you want to stay in the loop!
With the help of the b-e-a-utiful
@Camk48, I've fixed up DarkMod so that it will install the mods for the new launcher's version of Minecraft 1.5.2. To repeat, these steps are currently only for use with Minecraft 1.5.2 using the new launcher released today.
This method of installing DarkMod is a little bit more involved (annoyingly - thanks Mojang.), but is simple enough. I'll put these steps up on the Wiki page, too;
Run the new launcher at least once, and play release 1.5.2 at least once, so that the files are downloaded to your drive.
Close both Minecraft and the launcher.
Run DarkMod until completion, like before.
Re-open the new launcher but do not click play. Instead, click "New Profile".
Name the profile something relevant (for example, I name mine "DarkMod 1.5.2).
On the Use Version drop-down, select "release DarkMod 1.5.2"
