During the migration, I managed to squash some big bugs that have been plaguing the server for some time.

Lockette:
We actually don't have Lockette anymore, but the new plugin, DeadBolt, works identically.
Fixes:

• Quick locking of containers

And adds these features:

• You can now lock a cluster of furnaces, dispensers, and brewing stands with a single [Private] sign.

WorldGuard:
Fixes:

• You can't throw snowballs or enderpearls and players anymore, to damage them.

There have been other minor fixes, accompanied with a complete server and web server configuration which will allow me to stay much more organized in the future.
There have been reports of more lag, and we're working right now to find and fix the cause of it, sorry for the inconvenience. All is well, now!

Server is back online!! While DNS propagates, mc.darkcraft.org may not work as the IP. If it's giving you trouble, connect with 198.27.80.197:25565 temporarily.

The migration so far is going smoothly, but is taking a little bit longer than expected.

We will be online again, soon!

The website's been successfully transferred to its new home!

If you're having trouble connecting to the Minecraft server at this point, make sure you're using this IP:
mc.darkcraft.org:25565

The Minecraft server will be moved in the earliest hours of Sunday morning, so we disturb as few players as possible. If all goes to plan, the move should take no more than a half hour, in the event that anything goes wrong I'll be updating the forum.

Until the Minecraft server is on the new host, all http://darkcraft.org/server/***.*** pages will not function! You will receive strange errors when trying to access them, please be patient until we can get everything fully operational.

In other news, we will soon be moving to a new datacenter, located in eastern Canada. This means new hardware, too!
The new server's configuration:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1245v2 @ 3.4GHz (benchmarks slightly higher than the existing)
RAM: 32 GB (twice what we have!)
HDD: 2 x 2 TB in RAID 1

Configured nicely. After some testing, it looks like the server will perform much better on this setup.
We hope the switch will overall improve the connection for players all across the world that play here.
