In-Game World Map


This project is actually quite useless, because we have the DynMap, but this might be the solution for everyone who forgot how to type ;) I am currently building an in-game world map :p. This map is going to be a 13x13 wall with item-framed maps on it, covering the entire 1.7 world.

As of 1.4, maps are able to be cloned. This means you can create identical copies of a map that will be synchronized. If you, for example, put a map in an item frame and you explore the world with a clone of that one, the newly explored world will be shown on the map in your item frame.

This basically means that I can create infinite clones of maps and spread them to the people, like everyone who is interested in helping me exploring the world. :p
